I’m going to skip the warnings about Halloween candy and go straight for the meaty stuff: Bones.
Some of us are going to be eating like Labrador Retrievers as we make our way through the holiday season and it can be tempting to let your dog get in on the feasting by giving him bones from your leftovers.
Chewing on bones can be dangerous for dogs of any age but the risks for senior dogs far outweigh the deliciousness. I know I may sound like a party pooper but nothing ruins a party faster than having to make an emergency health decision.
